NDIS-Funded Services

Initial Assessment – $193.99 per hour
Up to 90 minutes for the initial appointment. Additional administration time is included for the initial appointment (typically 30minutes) to review case history information, previous reports and complete planning.

Reports - $193.99 per hour
The total cost will vary depending on the length and complexity of the report.

Ongoing Appointments $193.99 per hour
This includes a 45-minute face to face therapy session and 15-minutes of documentation and planning.

Non-Face-to-Face Services – $16.16 per 5 minutes
This may include:

  • Report writing and goal updates
  • Team meetings and collaboration with other professionals
  • Creating visuals, home programs, or therapy resources
  • Phone calls or emails with parents

NDIS Travel (for mobile visits) - $8.08 per 5minutes of travel.

  • Up to 30minutes each way for MMM3 areas.
  • Up to 60minutes each way for MMM4 and MMM5 areas. Check your area: Health Workforce Locator.
  • Non-Labour costs: $1.50 per kilometer.

All fees are in accordance with current NDIS Price Limits.

Private / Medicare-Funded Services

Initial Assessment – $200 per hour
Up to 60 minutes for the initial appointment

Reports – $200 per hour
The total cost will vary depending on the length and complexity of the report.

Follow-Up Appointments

  • 30 minutes – $100
  • 45 minutes – $150
  • 60 minutes – $200

Funding Options

National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS):
Rise Above OT provides services to self-managed and plan-managed NDIS participants. A service agreement is completed prior to the commencement of services.

Medicare:
You may be eligible for a rebate through a GP referral under one of the following plans:

  1. Allied Health Services for Chronic Disease Management
  2. Allied Health Services for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Peoples

If eligible, you can access up to five sessions per calendar year. Clients pay the full private fee and claim a rebate of $61.80 from Medicare per session. A valid GP referral must be in place prior to claiming.

Private Health Insurance:
Occupational Therapy services may be eligible for rebates under certain ancillary tables of private health funds. Please contact your insurer directly to confirm your level of cover.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that children can become unwell or that unexpected circumstances aries. If you need to cancel, please provide at least 48hours notice. If we are unable to fill your appointment time, a 100% cancellation fee will apply for late cancellation. Failure to attend without notice will result in 100% of the session fee being charged.
